BlingABC Requirements

BlingABC requires teachers to meet the following criteria:

• Native English speaker

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher

• Hold an ESL certificate (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) or valid teaching license

  • (Get on an online TEFL or TESOL through us for only $20)

• Teaching experience is preferred

• must be punctual, responsible, and have good communication skills and an easy-going personality

BlingABC Salary

• Earn up to 28 USD per hour through a competitive base rate of 6-8 USD per 30 minute lesson plus a structured bonus system depending on qualifications and experience.

• Paid training sessions to help prepare teachers for their first class.

• Referral bonuses available for referring qualified teachers

BlingABC Class Type

• 1v1, 1v2 and group classes are available

• Classes delivered via the BlingABC platform

• 30 minute classes

BlingABC Student Age Range

• BlingABC caters to students aged 6 to 15.

BlingABC Minimum Hours

• Teachers are assigned a fixed weekly class schedule

• Must be willing teach at least 12 teaching slots (6 hours) per week during the peak hours

BlingABC Peak Teaching Times

• Weekdays: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM (Beijing time)

• Weekends: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (Beijing time)

BlingABC Application Process

• Step 1 - Basic info: Submit application with basic information (5-10 minutes). You will need to provide your full legal name, age, nationality, current location, mobile number, education level, teaching experience and upload your resume.

• Step 2 - Interview: Applicants who pass the screening process will be invited to an interview and teaching demo with a BlingABC recruiter. All lesson materials will be provided in advance to allow for preparation. The interview will last 20-30 minutes.

• Step 3 - Contract signing and onboarding: After successfully passing the interview, applicants will be offered to sign a 6-month renewable contract. Once signed, teachers will participate in a series of professional live training sessions including an orientation (60mins), training sessions (120 min) and a mock class (40 min). Throughout the process, teachers will be provided with step-by-step guidance and constructive feedback to ensure they are well prepared and confident.

• Step 4 - Teaching and ongoing training: After successfully conducting the mock class, teachers will be fully onboarded and can set their schedules and begin teaching. Ongoing training sessions covering a variety of ESL topics will be provided to support continuous growth and professional development.
